Selve julen kommer som regel bag på mig. Det gjorde den også i år (2019).
Da vi nåede frem til Black Friday, som var den sidste fredag i november måned, blev jeg ramt af en overvældende depression.
Her blev jeg mindet om, at for nogle handler julen om at imponere hinanden med dyre gaver. At røre ved hinandens hjerter betyder mindre.
Det betød, at jeg opgav at få styr på mine tanker. Sagt på en anden måde så holdt jeg op med at dyrke motion i en uge.
Den efterfølgende fredag var jeg tilbage på løbebåndet igen.
Nu forsøger jeg endnu engang at betragte december måned som alle de andre måneder i året.
Den eneste forskel er, at jeg har 2 forskellige kalenderlys i mit hjem.
Så har jeg indkøbt 2 juleskrabekalendre, som kan give en økonomisk gevinst.
Den ene anvender jeg i december måned og den anden i januar måned.
Misforstå mig nu ikke.
Jeg elsker den gode gammeldags jul med de traditionelle værdier.
Det naturlige juletræ med de levende lys gør mig glad. Det samme gør de dejlige julesange, som bliver sunget, når man går rundt omkring juletræet.
Juleudsmykningen i hjemmet og udenfor får mig også til at smile.
Når det er sagt, så mener jeg også, at der er alt for mange forventninger til julen. Mange af disse forventninger bliver desværre ikke indfriet.
I praksis betyder der, at januar måned bliver unødigt svær at komme igennem for dem, der ikke fik deres forventninger indfriet.
